Having inspected this 924 in great detail we can happily say its one of the very best we've ever seen, The exterior of the 924 is in excellent condition and the Alpine White paint work is virtually all original, with our paint depth gauge providing confirmation of readings within factory parameters. Panel gaps are consistent around the car, lenses are free from damage, the original Teledial alloys have been refurbished and fitted with a new matched set of Goodyear Eagle 195/65/15 tyres and all the exterior rubbers, plastics and decals remain in excellent condition too.
The 'Porsche' script seats are free from any scuffing and they provide the perfect driving position for either spirited driving or a relaxed country cruise. Interior electrics all work, as to be expected with a Porsche, she has a new set of over mats, is fitted with a period Panasonic stereo and on opening the boot, the pièce de résistance for all aficionados is that the original build sticker is still in tact, the load covers remains in place, the factory tool kit is present and the sunroof bag is there too!
Mechanically the 924 is in great condition too, we've driven 150 miles in her and she can't be faulted, she has obviously been cosseted and well cared for by her previous owners (2 previous), the first of whom kept the car for some 26 years. The supporting history folder is HUGE with all 26 previous MOTs confirming her mileage (now 76k miles), dealer pack including all supplementary booklets and service book and invoicing confirming the car has been serviced no fewer than 16 times with a further 6 stamps for brake / coolant fluid changes. The most recent service, just 1800 miles ago, by a local Independent Porsche Specialist, totaled £2497 and included the replacement of all belts / idlers and a number of steering components, therefore ensuring that she'll offer miles of trouble free motoring.
With over £10k in invoices she is without doubt one of the best presented Porsche 924S examples available and coming with the all important supporting history file this car looks simply stunning and is ready to be enjoyed by her new owner for either local outings, journeys further afield or being displayed at classic car and Porsche Club events.
